As rapport is a web based software solution it can be installed on virtually any computer that has the ability to run a web server, which is more or less them all.

For us this is an elegant solution as it allows the use of the system on any device that has a web browser installed so, smartphones, tablets, desktop PCs, laptops… it really doesn’t matter what you use to be able to access rapport.

That gives us the ability not only to install rapport on a local PC for use in your business but, it also allows us to install it to an online server so you can use rapport from any machine, anywhere.

Cloud Solution

We offer a very low cost cloud based solution for repair and maintenance companies that removes all the hassle of setting this up from you and, as we update and maintain the installation you’re always bang up to date with the latest version.

This is the recommended solution for most repair and maintenance companies as it’s fast to set up, easy and the cheapest way to go.

More than that however, it takes all the hassle away from you.

You don’t need to worry about backups, network problems or any of that and you can access all your records from anywhere on any device.

All you need is a web browser and the URL to your system.

Who Should Use the Cloud

Ideally we would usually recommend this solution to most sole traders or smaller businesses up to about ten field operatives who are unlikely to exceed the storage limitations that are just a fact of online storage.

While even the most basic package can store well in excess of a hundred thousand records and probably close to doubts that, should you also wish to store a lot of photographs, service documentation and so on then you will, in larger environments, soon face storage issues.

For a normal sole trader we usually find the requirement for data will rarely exceed the limit but, if you do need more storage space you can rest easy, we’ve got you covered with that through optional add-on storage space to meet that need.

Additional storage space is not at all expensive incurring only a small additional cost but we do like to let people know about these things.

Backups

Of course our servers are backed up constantly including a full nightly backup.

Using our cloud service you needn’t have to worry about backing up at all, it just gets done.

And for even more peace of mind that backup is in turn backed up again to our local servers. In effect, there are three copies at any given time of your data.

And if you ever need or want your data, you can of course have that.

Simplest Solution

For most smaller repair and maintenance companies this is the easiest and simplest solution of all.

It’s cheap, requiring no capital outlay, can be cancelled at any time you wish, can grow along with your business and even if your business grows to needing a dedicated local server you can very easily transfer all your data to your own local machine or your own web server at any time you like.
